Working with a bike manufacturer out of Austria, we developed a new 3D printed steel frame, which relies on a mix of traditional manufacturing techniques with cutting-edge modern 3D sintering technology.
Allow for the tried and trusted bike manufacturing process to live on while making it more efficient and flexible through 3D-printed metal parts. Through using high-end frame building tubes from Italy, weight and stiffness are optimized. The 3D printed parts are only used where necessary to keep cost and weight down.
Creating a visually appealing design that takes a modern twist on the perfected diamond frame geometry.
Using the 3D printed part to emphasize the elegant nature of the steel tubes. At the same time as the design, a system has to be created that allows for varying sizes of frames and geometries for different riders.
